NORMAN CONNORS ~ “MR C”ORIGINAL 1981 US ARISTA FIRST PRESSING
Kittymusic does it AGAIN!!!!
Mr C contains cuts that should have performed well. Only "She's Gone," the leadoff number featuring Connors on vocals, registered on the black singles chart. Like the remainder of the record's first side,"She's Gone" sees Connors moving into synthesized sounds and rhythm programming. The first half is a straight-up party record, full of brisk arrangements and tugging melodic hooks. Despite the heavy use of electronics, this record employed a GALAXY LIST list of guest musicians, including Marion Meadows, Pee Wee Ford,and Paulinho Da Costa. Most of these people are present on the album's second side, which moves back into the jazzy, smooth R&B favoured by Connors on albums like 'This Is Your Life' and 'Take It to the Limit'.
Lovers of both electrified and lush early - 1980s R&B should not overlook this one !!!

Vinyl Condition: Near Mint Vinyl in lovely condition [ see photos]. Sound reproduction is clean.
Jacket Sleeve [see photos] ~ Gatefold sleeve with slight wear to the edges and spine as a result of storage but overall in very good condition, taking age into consideration [see photos]
This FANTASTIC LP is in very good condition with the vinyl itself still nice and shiny with the appearance of very limited plays. There are PEN MARKS on label(stamped FRENCHIE) and on the inside of the Jacket Sleeve.
