The label seems to come from Pittsburgh in Pensylvania, the record sounds like an old Impressions record, very Curtis Mafield in style, specially the high brass. Very soulful vocal, incredibly rare. I bough a couple of years for 500 GBP and decided it wasn´t Northern enough to play in my sets, and put it away, but dug it out again recently, and now couldn´t quite see why I didn´t rave about it in the first place. It really is a gem, and I´ve never seen another copy. This disc truly is on a tinny little obscure label. The label colour is dark blue and gold, epitomising the type of rarity that we all love to have in our collections and only turns up once in a blue moon. It really does owe its roots to the Impresions and sounds more Chicago than anywhere else. But the label does clearly say Pittsburgh.
