ITEM: Much sought after and RARE Northern Soul/R&B Vinyl 45. Louis Jordan, "What I Say" / "Old Age". Original Tangerine Record Corporation release, catalog number 45-TRC-937.
COMMENTS/CONDITION: This 45 came from a private collection. It is not a beat up record bought at a yard sale. The record is visually graded, it was not test played. Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.
The vinyl is in VG+++/NM- Condition, with a nice shiny gloss. There are no warps, deep scratches, or groove wear. Center hole is perfectly round with no signs of repeated playing. Close visual inspection reveals a few very light scuffs that are cosmetic only and should not affect the playback or listening enjoyment of the 45. This is a beautiful 45, one of the cleanest I have seen.
Both labels are in excellent, clean condition. There are NO tears, peeling edges, writing, stickers, tape, or nasty stains.
Another copy recently sold on eBay for $86.00, in stated VG+ condition.The labels were dirty and torn, and there was considerable wear around the center hole.
