NORTHERN SOUL R & B

FLUFFY FALANA, on ALPHA Records #007, a 45 rpm 7" original: HANGOVER FROM LOVE / MY LITTLE COTTAGE (By the Sea). 

This northern soul gem has no visible scuffs, no background noise and the label is perfect except that the plug side has the entertainment company label on it.  The thing is...that as shiny, black & beautiful as this record appears, it actually has  "unnoticeable at a glance" scratches in the grooves on the "Hangover from Love" side and there is a quick scip-over at the beginning of the record.  Otherwise it plays all the way through from edge to finish.  The flip side is near mint (except for the sticker) having no scratches in the grooves and only slight marks that do not affect play.  Overall this is a VG+ but it looks like mint at first glance.
