What I’m offering is a MEGA-RARE northern soul 45 by The Group featuring Cecil Washington titled I Don’t Like To Lose b/w The Light Of Day, issued on Prophonics Studios 2029 in 1967. This is an ORIGINAL PRESSING and not a reissue of any kind.
The 45 is only in VG- condition. Both sides of the 45 have numerous scuffs and scratches, with the scratches being both surface and non-surface scratches. The playback on the 45 is quite noisy, with a scratchy sounding playback with clicks and pops throughout. There are NO skips to the 45.
I am not sure what the press run of this in-demand record was, but it was obviously small. It appears that a copy of this record comes up for sale once every couple of years on average. This is NOT an easy record to find. Good luck finding another copy of this 45 in any condition.
