Description
I am offering a sealed copy of the Vanguard VRS 1109-12 box set of Joseph Szigeti and Claudio Arrau playing the complete set of 10 sonatas for violin and piano by Beethoven. If you have read this far, you already know that Szigeti and Arrau are some of the top instrumentalists of all time. This is masterful playing at its best and we are very fortunate to have these recordings documented by Vanguard. Vanguard had great foresight to record Szigeti and also Misha Elman late in their careers while they were still alive.
The box set is sealed. The shrink wrap is broken on the right side of the box, but the box has not been out of the shrink wrap. There is a split on the upper right corner. By the lower right side of the box about an inch of the flap has been torn off over time. The shrink wrap still has the original hype sticker with the original list price.
