Description

THAT DID IT- A HAPPENING :Mothers Records & The Snarf Company,  MRS-73, US release- first issue- 1968- only 500 copies made
This album has been reissued twice but not until 2012 on Dandelion label and 2005 on Radioactive label- both were made in UK
Wow- this is one case where the US version is the best one!!!
Album is like brand new Cover front is perfect, back shows some age stains around edges from record itself
Of course Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart were the song writers for the Monkees. To wish this Los Angeles-based band good luck, they wrote the liner notes for this 11-track very limited release album. In the notes they mention that helping hands had been extended to them, so they were "paying it forward" to these new guys.  Nice....we should all be like that!
The album features original compositions and some covers (Lee Michael's "Love", Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love", and Otis Redding's "Dock of the Bay". Amazing organ and some serious fuzz guitar give the album an appealing psychedelic vibe.
Musicians: Bob Archer, Chip Moore, Ed Benson, Terry Tibbets
