EXPLANATION OF MY OUTRAGEOUS MINIMUMS:
While some sellers offer their rarest of the rare items for $1 minimum and a hundred dollar reserve, I see this as a waste of a potential bidder's time and frustrating for them. When truly rare items turn up on eBay, they usually bring a fair market value regardless of the opening bid, as I have seen on my own over the last 5 years. However, many of these monster and other novelty items I am currently listing are above and beyond rare. My minimum bids are based on availability, demand, and condition. I have had a 50% sell-thru on the last two novelty offerings last month, with many of the remaining unsolds selling on my website at even higher prices. Please do not be offended or angry about my minimums. The three genres that bring top dollar for me are Rare Rockabilly, Rare R&B and Rare Novelty. We'd all like to find 45's like these by the box full at a garage sale for a dime each, (myself included), but it just doesn't happen much anymore.
