Side B - JABULA MAFANA Durban Evening Birds (Picture of two dancers in a Jive Like Pose)
A real contrast in images on side a to side b (Extremely rare Disc)
Great south African picture disc 10” 78 record. Record is Jabula Mfana singing ‘Durban Evening Birds’ and Ntombi Nga Ngi Ye Shela singing also ‘Durban Evening Birds’. Played suprisingly well. The picture on the one side is a vibrantly colourful image of two dancers in a very ‘rock and roll / rhythm and blues’ sort of dance pose. The other side is a complete contrast and features an image of tribal dancers in full ceremonial dance dress. A really superb picture disc shellac 78 record. Note, this is not a flexi record, it is a solid shellac 78.
