NUEVOS TIEMPOS - WHEN I TRY TO FIND THE RIGHT TIME / CANSADO ME ENCONTRÉ (DIÁBOLO SN 20.418, SPAIN 1970) VG++/M
On offer another copy of the mega rare only 45 by NUEVOS TIEMPOS. This band from Seville, featuring Jesus de la Rosa, came to Barcelona in 1970 to record for the Diábolo label (a small etiquette that released most of the Spanish early progressive psych rock like Màquina!, Música Dispersa, Smash, a.o.).
This is a very beautiful blues based psyche prog, with one song sung in English and another in Spanish.
The sleeve artwork is courtesy of Gualberto (A la vida, al dolor / Vericuetos...) and his then girlfriend Jessica Jones. Gualberto was the man who put all the andalusian early prog bands in contact with Àngel Fàbregas, the capo of Als 4 Vents / Diábolo.
A very rare early Spanish prog 45 by the musicians that would later create Triana. Rarely offered for sale, this may be your last chance to get a copy!
Sadly the sleeve for this copy is in slight worse condition than the other I had. There are no tears nor writings but shows some wear on the left side (see scan). To balance this, the record is UNPLAYED.
