Up for auction is my vinyl collection from West Coast Gangsta Rap genre. While I am not well-educated with the rap music of the West Coast, but I was present during its development and rapid growth. It began when some classmates brought over there explicit records to my home to listen. Not surprising, they left the records at my house because their parents wouldn't allow the records in their own homes! Some of their parents even called my parents to ask where the records are being hidden! The records remained in my collection for all these years. Some of these records I acquired as the original purchaser from retailers, some were product I was asked to promote, some were second hand pick-ups needed for private parties. My boss didn't allow explicit content too often except for the private parties or industry nights so I had to stock the essentials. These items are well cared, but a small few may still have my DJ cues along the run off or a odd price tag on the label. I included as much info as possible and hopefully the photos will assist your search. I am pricing this entire lot to sell. I am hopeful this will go to a good home. I started collecting vinyl, collections, and imports when I was a young kid. I have a personal and professional collection from my lifelong love of music. I also had a professional DJ residency for a club owner for 8 years so this collection includes all artists, eras, & genres for all occasions needed by private parties. My collection is at capacity and it is really limiting my storage unit access. I am attempting to reduce my collection so I am listing items at deduction as they come into reach! 95% are vinyl records, the rest is made up of cassettes, posters, books, cd's, vhs, dvd, etc.,. Please understand any 'search requests' are welcome but may not be answered in a timely fashion due to limited access. More items and collections (Beastie Boys, Eminem, etc.,) to be listed at future dates.
