Condition Guide
Near Mint – NM
I do not use this condition for any record, because I feel that this condition is widely over-used and does not accurately describe the condition of most records.
Very Good Plus – VG+
A VG+ record is in nearly perfect condition with only small scratches if any. Label shows no wear. Record has been well cared for. Record plays through smoothly with little to no background noise. Sleeve shows no signs of wear or creases.
Very Good – VG
Record shows surface scratching and label wear. May have moderate background noise, but does not affect the listening experience. Sleeve shows light wear and/or creases.
Good – G
Record plays through without a problem. May have heavier background noise than a VG record. Record will have scratches and/or scuffs - physical scratches that may be felt, but that do not affect the playback. Sleeve may have heavy wear or splits.
Poor – P
Records in this condition will never be listed for sale by me.
