Comments: This 45 is from 1973, way before the Disco period, so despite the word disco in the title, this is a straight Mid-tempo Funk Instrumental with just a bit of shouting by the bandleader. Horns and a searing guitar add to the proceedings over an infectious beat.
This 45 was also released as Shyrlden 200 with artist listed as Tony Aiken and Future 2000.
In addition “Soul Disco” was the B-side of Tobin 340 and in 1976 Kimsha 200 under the name Tony Aiken & Future 2,000 (Kimsha was Brooklyn based).
