Nadi Qamar- Mama Likembi FOLKWAYS FTS31306 (USA) beautiful artwork by David Stone Martin visual grade: M- play grade: Vg+ (plays in quiter parts with very light back noise, great copy) labels: clean cover: Vg (nothing bad, check back cover photo) conservative grading comments: hand-made African instruments which sounds like a kalimba, very fascinating solo record with a distant/mystical vibe (sounds like Phil Corhan solo on kalimba)... Mr. Qamar (also known as Spaulding Givens) played also on Andrew Hill- Compulsion (Blue Note), on a Strata-East session by Stanley Cowell and on the legendary Debut dates with Charles Mingus; a record that don't circulate much key condition (vinyl condition/cover condition): M: like new/mint M-: played few times (looks like new)/near mint Vg+: occasional low surface noise, very good condition Vg: light scuffs, surface noise audible, good condition priority shipping costs: EUROPE (France included, NO personal delivery, sorry; packages sent from Italy where i'm at the moment): for 1/3 records---> $15, for 4/7 records---> $22
