   For sale is Nancy Sinatra's Nancy & Lee, originally released in 1968 by Reprise Records, with the hits of Nancy and Lee Hazlewood. This record has the original two tone orange labels, rich orange on the top and a duller orange (tan) on the bottom with a smaller steamboat at the upper left corner . Then there is a "r:" logo in a circle at the upper right with a "W7" logo overlapping it at its left. These labels were used between 1968-1970. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks are the matrix numbers 1-F/1-G, indicating that an early stamper was used to make this first edition. These pressings are sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is graded as Excellent with a bent corner with wrinkles. The cover is graded as VG+ because of ring wear, edge rubs, slight corner blunts and stress cracks along the spine. The spine has some color loss from these stress cracks along with a small tear at the corner. The Vinyl is visually graded as NM- because of some very faint sleeve marks. I play graded it as Near Mint Minus just because of occasional pop. This is the best copy of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition, given the fact that this record is 50 years old and a first pressing.  I have more Pop records listed in my Ebay store, as well as albums of all genres.
