Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1960 on Capitol Records. Cat: T1319. This album is in MONO.Over the next few weeks I will be listing some wonderful Jazz titles from a recently acquired Jazz collection. The original owner passed away back in 1985 and his sister decided to hold onto them for sentimental reasons. She had not touched or played them since then (1985!!). The records are in stunning condition for their age many, apart from a few light age spots on the covers, look like they walked off the shelf yesterday. I hope you enjoy viewing and possibly purchasing these wonderful jazz vinyl artifacts as much as i have in preparing them for sale and listening to them!!
Capitol Records was the place to be a jazz-pop vocalist in the 1950s and early '60s, and with this winning debut, Nancy Wilson proved herself to be up to the challenge of recording alongside such labelmates as Frank Sinatra, Nat "King" Cole, and Peggy Lee. Only 22 years old on her first recording date, Wilson's Sarah Vaughan-meets-Dinah Washington vocal style was already firmly in place and is perfectly in sync with star arranger Billy May's typically expert big band jazz charts.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover with back flaps has light ringwear, age spots and a tiny sticker on back top right and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
