Description

Nasty Nasty is the third studio album by the American glam metal/hard rock band Black 'n Blue, released in 1986 on Geffen Records.

Produced primarily by Kiss bassist Gene Simmons (with one track by Jonathan Cain), the album marks a deliberate shift back to a raw, aggressive sound after the more polished style of their previous release Without Love. It ditches some of the pop-leaning elements to deliver sleazy, high-energy hard rockers that appealed more to their metal fanbase.

The standout title track "Nasty Nasty" is a gritty, riff-driven anthem (famously reused by Gene Simmons for Kiss's "Domino" years later), while the album mixes heavy grooves with one power ballad outlier ("I'll Be There for You").

Often called one of the band's strongest and hardest-hitting efforts by fans, Nasty Nasty captures classic mid-80s sleazy metal energy, even if it didn't achieve massive commercial success amid the exploding hair metal scene. A cult favorite for those who love raw, no-frills 80s rock! 🎸
