Description
This is it - the original recording of "The Christmas Song" ("Chestnuts roasting on an open fire") by the King Cole Trio. Recorded at WMCA Radio in New York, June 14, 1946. Backed with "In the Cool of the Evening," recorded in the same location on September 6, 1946. Issued on Capitol 311. Condition is E-. Some scuffs and light scratches but plays loudly and quietly. Very slight rim chip on edge that doesn't go anywhere near grooves and doesn't affect play. A nice copy. GET IT IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!
