Up for auction is The King Cole Trio,Vols.,1 and 2 ,containing 16 sides,in two sets.Songs include; Sweet Loraine Embraceable You The Man I Love Body And Soul Prelude In C-Sharp Minor What Is This Thing Called Love It's Only A Paper moon Easy Listening Blues. Volume 1,these songs were recorded in 1943 and 1944-Released in 1944.Records in this selection are very good-no deep scratches,warpage,writing,etc.Sounds great for their age.One issue is that the front cover has come totally detatched from the binding.However the binding still contains all 4 records,securely,without any issues.Back cover is still attatched ,and in very good condition,some light wear.I really dislike when people take it into their own hands to fix binding issues(usually brutal tape jobs).I will leave that up to the buyer. Look What You've Done To Me I'm Thru With Love To A Wild Rose I'm In The Mood For Love This Way Out What Can I Say After I Say I'm Sorry I Know That You Know I Don't Know Why Volume 2,unlike volume 1,is in near pristine condition.Cover,records,are absolutely wonderful.Released in 1946.Before Nat went solo,he was quite the jazz pianist,and these two volumes clearly illustrate that.Great jazz.That's it.I'll be releasing Vols.3,and 4 next year(on 78 as well).
As many of you know,shipping 78"s is a bit tricky.There are 8 records,and will have to go into two boxes,to insure proper delivery,without breakage.The postage will be a bit more than stated(but not too much.)No international shipping.Thanks for looking.
