Steve Hoffman mastered vinyl is the definitive way to hear this timeless music. Minimal EQ’ing in the mastering stage to let the master tape sound come through with his famous “breath of life”. Everyone knows Nat King Cole’s legendary voice, on these records he sounds stunning almost like you can reach out and touch him! Just the perfect midrange balance. This reissue is made on an entire tube cutting/mastering system, not the later solid state system that AcousTech started using. As such in my opinion it is the finest sounding “The Very Thought Of You”
Vinyl Condition: EXC to NM, conservatively graded. Play graded on my Stax Omega 2 headphones and Zyx cartridge. The electrostatic headphones and low output cart are very revealing. The vinyl plays back very nicely, there are some quiet tics at the end of track 4 on side 2 (Making Believe You’re Here). This is a great playing copy.
Jacket: EXC, conservatively graded. No flaws that I can see.
Other: Has the original outer plastic sleeve with the DCC gold embossed sticker. Record is in the original rice paper poly sleeve. It also comes with the original insert with notes by Pete Welding.
About me: All of my vinyl is played back on a high end turntable with a very new moving coil cartridge. These pressings have been played a few times at most. I’ve sold plenty of high end vinyl on Ebay and other forums.
I set myself apart from other vinyl sellers in that I play grade my vinyl, as we all know there is more to a record than just how it looks.
Grading scale: NM, EXC, VG+, VG, G, P

Shipping: packed in a vinyl LP cardboard mailer with the record taken out of the jacket.
USA shipping is by media mail with delivery confirmation. Additional albums add $1.
