Description

NATHAN ABSHIRE AND HIS MUSICAL FIVE - Musical Five Special / Avalon Waltz (Khoury's 631)


A 1953 "French Music" (today we call it Cajun) release from Abshire and the boys. The A side is a one-step instrumental and the B side is Nathan's ode to the Avalon Club in Basile where he often played. Produced by George Khoury in Lake Charles, Louisiana. 


Condition: VG+. Nice shine and luster on this non-flexible vinyl release. Must not have made it to jukebox. Very slight label damage.


Postage will be exact, and will be determined at auction close. Record will be placed between four pads of cardboard, bubblewrapped, and placed in the middle of an oversize box stuffed with paper or styrofoam to prevent damage. So far I have a 100% success rate with shipping 78 rpm records. NOTE: Postage is usually around $5-$10 for North American addresses and $12-$18 for overseas -- NOT the price eBay "automatically calculates" listed above. Insurance will be added to all orders.
