Capitol Records catalog # SPBR 8502, stereo.
A very clean stereo copy of violinist Nathan Milstein's "The Art of Milstein". This 2 LP boxed set contains the following:
Sides 1 & 2: William Steinberg conducting The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major
Side Three: Beethoven's Sonata No. 5 in F Major ("Spring"), with Rudolf Firkusny- piano.
Side Four: All tracks with Leon Pommers - piano
- Szymanowski - The Fountains of Arethuse
- Debussy - Minstrels
- Faure - Apres un reve
- Pizzetti - Canto No. 3
- Sarasate - Introduction and Tarantella
Vinyl is in excellent condition. Play surfaces are very clean and free of marks. LPs have been kept in plastic lined inner sleeves, and show very few if any spindle marks. I grade the records near-mint. Box is VG, with a fair amount of wear. The front cover is detached from the rear, and several corners of the box and cover are split. The booklet is included, and is in VG+ condition.
