Description

An original 1st Uk press of Dog on decent weight Mooncrest pressing [unlike many copies from this period]. MATRIX A2/B1 - 1st cut. Stampers 1-RO/1GT...from the 1st mother....great audio provenance. This title is hard to find as the record label Mooncrest folded shortly after 1st release. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with Mooncrest logo. The original inner is NOT PRESENT.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with deviation in one track. Absolutely banging out these hard rock classics. Remember... Solid quality pressing by EMI and 1st mother...you will be SPOILT on the audio front. This title is massively crankable...! You wanna hear where ACDC got their act from..?.or Axel and his full throttle delivery..?...then take a listen. Some sublime audio...BANGIN'!. Love it. A couple of ticks in a couple of spots and a few crackles during 'GUILTY'...this is the only marginally dissappointing track...[it still plays fine - but not at the level of other tracks]..Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) A very smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit worn or aged by this point. This example is in very rude health. Clean and flat with hardly a crease. Minimal edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is 90%+ intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
