Description
DESCRIPTION: Nazareth LP- No Mean City. 1ST Uk pressing- A2/B1 matrix. With inner sleeve and scarce Fan Club Insert. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Mountain TOPS 123 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1979 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a decent sheen. Played brief passages of this today on my Pro-ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds excellent. Clear, loud and very powerful. Cover is in nice shape with light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Inner has 2 edges with cellotape on . Looks like this has been done to prevent splits as I cant see any other reason it would have had the tape put on. Coloured side of insert is better than EX , printed side has some blu-tac residue whch you may want to pick off yourself!! Very clean labels. No writing, rips or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER NAZARETH AND CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
