Description
Up for auction is a very rare version of Neil Young's classic record, After The Gold Rush. This is a very hard to find two tone Warner Bros Seven Arts label pressing. The complete matrices are as follows:
Side 1: 31009RE2 1S
Side 2: 31010RE2 2S
This record has been carefully cleaned on my VPI 16.5
The condition is as follows:
Side 1: Visually NM minus - 1 or 2 light scratches.
Side 2: A few very light scratches and a few sleeve removal marks. Visually VG++
Cover - NM minus. Slight top and bottom seam rubbing but no spits. Spine is NM. Very slight ring wear to bottom of back cover. Almost invisible (see pics)
Poster - Excellent -No holes, tape, rips or folds other than the factory folds
**There is no original inner sleeve included.
Full Detailed Play Grade:
Tell Me Why - very slight surface noise on lead in - plays NM otherwise
After The Gold Rush - plays NM, almost dead quiet
Only Love Can Break Your Heart - plays NM minus - very slight noise in a couple of spots.
Southern Man - plays NM
Till The Morning Comes - plays NM, fade has a little noise.
Oh Lonesome Road - slight noise on lead in - has some noise in the breakdown bridge section VG+
Don't Let It Bring You Down - very slight noise in some spots - again mostly in the quieter breakdown VG+
Birds - a couple of pops. Repeating scuff sound for several revolutions - this is always a hard song to find quiet - VG+
When You Dance - plays NM
I Believe In You - plays NM
Cripple Creek Fairy - slight surface noise during intro - otherwise NM
