Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

This very rare combination of Reprise Records Promotional items has never been offered before. It includes five items as described below.

  • This is a repress (the first pressing had wrong track listing sequence) of a Reprise Records Promotional Copy of the original 1978 release.
  • The gold foil promo stamp on is top right front cover.
  • The record has been played. The playing surfaces are clean except for a small tick.
  • The matte cover has tight seams and shows some smudges which is typical for unfinished matte surfaces.
  • At the top of the back cover is a brown sticker in the same typeface as the underlying printing with corrected A4 which was listed as A5 on the first pressing.
  • The 45 RPM, 7" single is in a picture sleeve. It has never been played.
  • The 10-Page, 8x10 lyric book was issued separately by Reprise Records as a Promotional item. It was never included with the commercial copies of the album.
  • The 4"x4.5" Tortoise Shell guitar pick was a Reprise Records Promotional item.
  • The 1.5" pin back was a Reprise Records Promotional item.
  • These are one-owners that the Seller got new from Reprise Records in 1978. They have been in storage for 44 years.
