This LP offering is a copy of the acclaimed "Harvest" by Neil Young. If you don't know this record, this is another that begs to be heard and is "all killer and no filler".
The record contains some of Neil's most beloved songs like, "Harvest", "A Man Needs A Maid", "Heart Of Gold" and of course, "Tonight's The Night". Also, this being an original pressing, the sound is phenomenal. The mastering is by Sterling and this is the highly desirable Lee Hulko mastered edition. Sonically, this pressing tops the red book CD of "Harvest", no question. Even Neil Young made a remark about how he wishes the digital sound could be equal to this pressing.
The record jacket underwent slight restoration beginning with repair of a seam split along the top of the jacket. Another flaw we don't care for is the name on the front of the cover. Oh "Ratch", why did you write your name on the cover, well, it's okay, you were the original owner(?) Even with the foregoing present, we grade the cover VG.
The record jacket itself is made of the faux "ostrich leather". Actually, it is made from paper. We also smoothed one of the corners of the cover. There is a crease on the front of the jacket upper right underneath the name. Because of the age and previous condition, some edge, spine and corner wear are evident.
The record was cleaned on a Loricraft Audio Professional Record Cleaner and play graded. We assign a grade of VG to the record. It was played both with and without being clamped to the turntable. No skipping on either side and the record is not warped, it played beautifully each time.
Record ships with original inner sleeve (pictured), original lyric insert (pictured), the record now resides in a new plain white paper inner sleeve. An outer sleeve has been added for additional protection.
