Description

An original 1st press of "Harvest" on the UK Reprise label. Matrix 2C/2C . Note how the labels have the perimeter text predominantly in the southern sector and there's no Warners logo apparent - all required for absolute 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover. Also included is the original textured inner sleeve and the lyric sheet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with two deviations.  Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a nice clean player and you really need that with Young - his music is all low-key and background interference will get annoying. Expect a few crackles in the odd spot and a couple of errant low-level ticks...The only deviations are, perhaps, in 'Man Needs A Maid' and 'There's A World' ..They're exhibiting a bit of light background in places. Nothing intrusive, really, they just won't play quite as clean as the rest of the LP. Overall a proper and true 1st issue which plays real neat for the most part.
Cover (Vg+) This cover is notorious for ageing...it is very very difficult to find unaged. And this copy is no exception - but it's mostly observable around the edges and looks better than many examples. The interior looks fine with no issues at all. Edge wear is relatively light and the openings are still sharpish. Most of the text on the spine is still legible, but the spine probably has been affected the most by ageing. The cover still retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) One two inch bottom edge split. And one 1c.m. edge split. Otherwise fine.
Lyric sheet. (Ex-) Very nice condition indeed. Light ageing and a couple of blemishes.
