Description

An original very 1st press of "Harvest" on the UK Reprise label. Matrix A1B/B2 - super early ..never seen this one before. Note how the labels have the perimeter text predominantly in the southern sector and there's no Warners logo apparent - all required for 1st issue. But only the very earliest omit "made in the UK" - as this copy does. Worth insisting on the earliest you can find as they were pressed much heavier than copies just a few months later. The vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover. Also included is the original textured inner sleeve with exposed flipbacks. There's also the lyric sheet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback.  Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large a nice clean player and you really need that with Young - his music is all low-key and background interference will get annoying. Expect a few light crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Even the super fussy tracks like  'Man Needs A Maid' and 'There's A World' .... are playing real nice and clean. Perhaps, just a couple of isolated low-level crackles in MNAM - but this track is SUPER fussy. As early as you can go on this title and clean as a whistle...what's not to like?
Cover (Vg+) This cover is notorious for ageing...it is very very difficult to find unaged. But this copy has escaped the worst of it... it's mostly observable around the edges [looks better than many examples]. The interior looks great -with no issues at all. Edge wear is relatively light and the openings are still sharpish. The text on the spine is still legible, but has seen a touch more ageing than else where [typical]. The cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) One two inch bottom edge split. Otherwise real nice.
Lyric sheet. (Ex-) Very nice indeed. Lightest ageing and clean to the touch.
