Neil Young – Old Ways LP MFSL 1-252 Vinyl NM Ltd Ed.180gm
This is the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs audiophile pressing from 1996, which I have owned from new. The Limited Edition number is 3007.
CONDITION I use the RC grading categories and have play graded the vinyl on a Linn LP12. I have been using high end turntables for over 30 years. My records have been stored in a pet free, smoke free home.
Sleeve: Very Good+ The LP has been stored in a polythene outer sleeve and the cover is in as new condition apart from a small area of damage to the bottom right corner (see photos). It has the original inner sleeve and MFSL card insert. The cover and inners have no tears, splits, creases or stains. There is no edge wear. There is no writing on sleeve or labels. Vinyl: Near Mint The record has only been played a few times and looks and sounds as new. There are no visible spindle marks on the labels or marks on the disc. There are no clicks, sticks, jumps or warps. There is no distortion and no crackle. The vinyl is silent between tracks and from the run in grooves, creating the sense of stillness that is typical of the MFSL recordings.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING The record will be packed in a record mailer with stiffener and posted 2nd class signed for delivery. I remove all records from outer and printed inner sleeves before packing to avoid damage to covers during transit. All vinyl is dispatched in polythene sleeves. This is one of several albums I am selling from my personal collection (see my other listings). I am not a dealer but have been buying records for over 40 years and have decided to begin ‘downsizing’ my collection. I will be listing many more records over the coming months, dating from the 1960s to the present day.
