Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP On The Beach by Neil Young , UK early pressing from 1974 on Reprise K 54014.
The stamped matrix no.s are K 54014 A4 and K 54014 B4
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition with no scratches, scuffs or other blemishes. The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing, spindle marks or stains.
The matt cover is in Near Mint condition. There are no tears, splits, writing, stains or shelf wear. It's as clean and fresh as the day it left the printers. Legendary underground artist Rick Griffin did the lettering. The inside of the cover has the same design as the beach chairs on the front.
The thick card inner sleeve with recording info. is also Near Mint. No faults at all.
In summary
, a splendid "store bought" condition copy of a 38 year old record. Would make an ideal Xmas present for a Neil Young fan.
Comes from a smoke free home.
