As any serious collector will know this 1974 vinyl album was initially dismissed by critics and fans alike but later came to be recognised as on of Neil Young's finest pieces of work and this copy of "On The Beach" is sealed and has therefore never been played. The Gary Burden designed cover with photograph by Bob Seideman and graphic lettering by Rick Griffin is instantly recognisable – the classic artwork is protected by the manufacturers vacuum sealed plastic. With its enigmatic subject, a Cadillac car fin jutting from the sand like a crashed rocket, Neil Young stares out into the ocean accompanied by a number of surreal props, a single forlorn potted palm, a yellow beach umbrella which matches Neil's clothing and the classic Coors beer can on the table – inside the cover the mystery deepens with the album’s handwritten comments by Rusty Kershaw.
