Reprise 3RS 2257 DJ TEST Pressing!
This is the very rare Neil Young "Decade" DJ TEST PRESSING released in 1977! All 3 records are rated NEAR MINT!! The vinyl is nice and shiny! The sound is excellent. Labels are very clean with no marks. Cover is VG+ with very minor wear front and back and on the corners. Front cover has pink promo sticker and another sticker promoting the set. Back cover has 4 small check marks in black marker where the dj marked what he would play as seen in the photo. The inner tri-gatefold looks to be near mint. The left spine has minor rub wear from handling but no splits. NOW FOR THE RARITY: The song "Campaigner" was released on this record with an extra verse making the song 4:19 in total time. The stock version was only 3:30 in total time. THIS WAS NEVER RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC IN ANY OTHER FORM ON VINYL! There is a low reserve of $250 on this auction. If I can't get at least that then I will keep it for my collection. Over all a very nice collectable piece! GOOD LUCK! I grade with Goldmine standards as follows:
- NM=Perfect! This rating is very hard to obtain
- VG+=Light scuffs on vinyl with little noise,light wear on covers
- VG=Some scratches and plays with some noise,covers have some ring wear and minor splits
- G=Many scratches but plays without skipping, covers have heavier wear with seam splits
