Here’s Nellie Melba, with "Si Mes Vers Avaient Des Ailes" by Hahn, and Nellie is accompanied by a harpist, Ms Ada Sassoli.
This recording dates from March 1907 (thank you Robert Johannesson)
It has a “Melba Lilac” coloured label, and it’s a single-sided Gramophone And Typewriter disc number 033026. The mx number is A.4352 Condition-wise, we would describe it as very nice indeed.
It shows signs of handling over the last 116 years, and there are storage marks, but NO needle digs or noticeable scratches. It plays beautifully.
Let's call it a very strong VG+ or better (using the "Record Collector" magazine criteria), or a pretty good E- using the other system.
