Description
Up for sale is a great copy of "New Hope Jazz Mass" with Heikki Sarmanto, Gregg Smith, The Heikki Sarmanto Ensemble, The Gregg Smith Vocal Quartet, Maija Hapuoja and th Long Island Symphonic Choral Association. The 2 LP set was recorded and released in 1978, and is dedicated to Duke Ellington and John Coltrane. It was the result of a commission from St. Peter's Church in New York to celebrate the opening if the church's new site in midtown Manhattan. The liner notes are in English and Finnish. The release is on Finlandia Records (Finlandia FA 201 LP2 Stereo).
Cover is VG++, some very slight wear, otherwise cover is in great shape. The vinyl is Excellent, very glossy.
