However, Smash Hits is an old magazine and clippings may be from publications 10-20+ years old.

Be aware that, particularly in packs containing this older material, the occasional clipping may be less than perfect.

Covers may have a door number or address written by the newsagent or a piece of sellotape where gifts were removed.

There may be creases or fraying and even the odd tiny tear.

Obviously the vast majority of the material will be perfect, in fact with recent artists nothing at all may be affected.
But I am sure you will realise that with age wear and tear does occur.

One thing is for sure though - each pack gives great value and provides a great deal of memorabilia to a fan !

All my Smash Hits packs are shipped very securely in a good quality A4 sized card-backed envelope, clearly marked "Do Not Bend" and with the addition of a water resistant wrapping to protect your memorabilia. In view of the size of the envelopes and the thickness of the package I would not expect any postman with an ounce of common sense to try and fold a package to put it through your door if your letterbox does not accommodate an A4 envelope (most letterboxes will). If however you believe your postman could try such a daft thing I would recommend adding insurance to your package so you have to sign for receipt. I'm afraid I can't be held responsible for postmen who neglect such a simple instruction.

1. I do not fold clippings in half ! The only times you will get anything folded is where there is a double page spread (when of course there's a fold in the page anyway). Also if large posters are included these may be neatly folded (you will see this on the picture anyway).

I prefer an honest approach to postage costs by only charging what it costs us to package and send your item based on its weight. Please remember that we do this to be honest with you as buyers. I could easily do as others do and increase the starting price dramatically for all items and then saying postage is "FREE" but I am sure you would rather I have this honest approach. This is also fairer than "Flat Postage Rates" as many people would end up paying way more.

A discount will be given on items which are able to be shipped together providing those auctions end on the same day. Bidders who have won multiple items can either wait for a combined invoice or do what my regular multiple buyers do and pay the full amount of shipping, as quoted, for each item and I will then send the overpaid postage back via Paypal - it's so easy and quick !

If purchasing multiple items on BUY IT NOW just pay the quoted postage for each item. I will refund any overpaid postage once I have combined.

Important: You do not pay Paypal Fees on postage refunds.

International postage (non UK) is by AIRMAIL ONLY

I will NOT ship by surface (sea) mail as shipping takes far too long and increases risk of damage to packs

Insurance:The vast majority of buyers (especially those outside the UK) do not bother with insurance because of the relatively high cost. It is up to you, the buyer, to decide whether you wish to have the package insured when it is sent to you. I have had no problems whatsoever with shipping (airmail is very reliable)but you must be aware that if you do not pay for insurance the package is shipped completely at your own risk. Even if you don't have insurance a proof of postage certificate is obtained to prove mailing of package.

*2000g is the maximum allowed on the UK's small packet airmail shipping rate. If your combined order comes to more than 2 kilos it will need to be split into 2 smaller packages.

As the only methods of payment are Paypal and Nochex there are few reasons why payment shouldn't be received as soon as you receive your invoice. I will however allow a maximum of 4 days. i.e. auction ends Saturday - payment by end of Tuesday at the latest.

I always record positive feedback for all quick paying, polite customers. 

Due to the amount of "false bidders" on Ebay currently intentionally corrupting feedback profiles I now post my feedback for the buyer once I see that the buyer has posted feedback for me.

I update feedback in bulk once or twice a week.

** I will advise of any unavoidable delay in despatch. For payments that are received after the timescale allowed above shipping next working day may not apply. When no effort is made by the buyer to pay quickly why should they expect it mailed immediately?

Paypal and Nochex are the only payment methods and therefore there is no reason why payment cannot be made very soon after the end of the auction. However bidders will be allowed 4 days. A non paying bidder warning will be posted if payment not received in this timescale. Negative feedback will be recorded 10 days after this if payment still not received. Also if you are bidding on more of my items and you have not settled previous invoices, from auctions ending the previous week, you will find any such bids removed and your user id blocked from bidding.

Ebay is meant to be honest and fun. But unfortunately like all Ebay sellers I have a lot of problems with bidders who have an Ebay rating of 0,1 and 2 (New Ebayers). Whilst some are genuine most are turning out to be time-wasters who are out to ruin auctions for real bidders.

Please note if you hold the highest bid on my items and your Ebay rating is "0" I will automatically delete your bid. For feedback of  "1" and "2"  I will use discretion as to whether the bid stays or gets removed. If it is removed I will state a reason. I also reserve the right to delete the bid of any bidder who has negative feedback, excessive bid retractions or if  I am suspicious of a bid for any other reason. This action is completely within the rules of eBay.

I apologize to all genuine serious new bidders but until Ebay come up with a way of preventing these people ruining auctions for others I will continue to take this course of action.

If you are a new eBay user there may still be a way for you to purchase this pack and that is to use the BUY IT NOW OPTION if it is available on this auction.
