David Bowie: Changesbowie - UK 1990 Double LP
In my opinion this is the definitive Bowie compilation and original pressing purchased by me when it was released back in 1990 and looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since. The gatefold sleeve has no rips or splits and a sharp and clearly readable spine. I would grade it as all round excellent if only it were not for an area on the back sleeve (right side) where the laminate has peeled away slightly and left some light marks. Its not falling apart or anything bad and it's not really a big deal, but I want to make buyers aware of it as if your looking for a mint condition sleeve this might put you off (see final photo). Both records were placed in plain white polylined inner sleeves years ago and will be supplied in these also to help protect the vinyl.
I've checked both the records under a very bright LED light and there are a few marks and scuffs visible when scrutinised, but nothing to affect playback. I've also cleaned both in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L’Art du Son cleaning fluid so they're now free from dirt and static and in the best possible condition for the next owner to enjoy. I’ve test played all 4 sides all the way through and they both sit perfectly flat on the deck and apart from the warm vinyl crackle here and there on run ins and quieter sections of songs ie. start of Space Oddity it plays through beautifully with a clear and punchy sound. Absolutely no sticking, skipping or jumping. A fantastic collection of his work here in nice condition for 30 years old.
