AFX decided the "Flow Coma" remix would go on the first Men Records single instead, so New Order: Acid House Mixes didn't come out until the time of Prebuild's release. Though this EP appears to be a New Order release, it was produced by the efforts of 808 State and Rephlex Records. These are acid house style covers rather than remixes. The "1988" on the EP cover refers to the early 808 State team of Graham Massey, Gerald Simpson, and Martin Price. Track A published by Be Music, administered by Warner/Chappell Music Ltd.
