Description
New Order - Blue Monday
First edition 12" vinyl 45 RPM 2-track Single.
First pressing: 60,000 copies. Initial A1/B1 pressing, variation 5 with runout space of 0.35 inches. This first edition has a thick silver inner sleeve with straight top corners.

All runout information is etched apart from the word STRAWBERRY, which is stamped.
"Outvoted" in the runout refers to an error made by the Strawberry engineer, who brought up the fader too late and missed the first drumbeat. New Order took a vote as to whether the mistake should stay, and the yes vote prevailed.
CONDITION - This vinyl package has been owned since first released and remains in overall mint and perfect condition. The vinyl was only lightly played a few times (and recorded) - no spindle wear. The die-cut Cover remains in mint condition with a firm printed spine - no dings or marks. The thick silver inner sleeve has straight top corners and remains perfect with no splits or marks. Stored in a PVC sleeve since new in 1983.
