Description

Here we have the first pressing of the classic compilation album by New Order.

Ladies and gentlemen, Substance.

This is the non-embossed sleeve.


The outer has some wear and a sticker mark on the reverse.

One seam has become unstuck (easily repairable).

The inners are both there and in excellent condition.


The vinyl is glossy and shiny with feint surface marks.

This causes slight crackle in the dead wax but the audio is clear and deep.

It may be closer to EX but I have graded conservatively.


I have played both records.


There are no warps.

This is a double vinyl LP of Substance by New Order, released in 1987 under Factory Records. The album features a compilation of their greatest hits including pop, dance & electronica, rock, alternative, electronic and oldies genres. It has a cardboard sleeve case and is a first edition with a non-embossed Fact 200 label.


The vinyl is black and measures 12". It plays at 33 RPM and has a very good plus (VG+) record grading. The inlay condition is excellent (EX) and the sleeve grading is also very good plus (VG+). It's a perfect addition to any 80s new wave music collection.
