Description
New Orleans Strutters (Fourth Avenue Stomp) and the Alabama Harmony Boys (Chicken Supper Strut) 78 RPM record on Champion Records #15398. If I were to grade this as I do my 45's and LP's I would grade it VG++ or better . No scratches---and nice shine. Some spindle marks on labels--but the labels are also in great shape! The only issue is what appears to be 3 light creases on the AHB side-(thought they were light stress cracks)--they look to be part of the manufacturing process. They don't go through the record. They also are not heard. Perhaps 78 experts already know what I'm describing. Ask any questions--I might try to add a photo. Winner add $10 insured priority mail in USA. On Jul-27-08 at 12:17:55 PDT, seller added the following information:About the creases described above---I've added a couple of pics--as you can see, the one crease is the worst. None of them extend to the outer edge of the record. There are perhaps 3 others---4 total. The others are a lot lighter. I could not hear any of them on my Califone 1850A. They are definately not cracks. I can see the ghosting of the deepest one on the opposite side as well as another very light additional crease there.
