Description
This is the first album from the New Riders of the Purple Sage. It's also probably their BEST and has that classic California sound that became so popular in the 70's. Issued in 1971 it contains 10 classic NRPS songs. According to the serial # this is a First Pressing, no date or barcode on the jacket. It also has Jerry Garcia, and Mickey Hart from the Grateful Dead, Spencer Dryden from Jeff. Airplane, and Commander Cody playing on it. Jacket is in great shape, clean with very little wear or creasing if any. Fairly sharp corners. The bottom right corner has a slight bend in it, due to tightness of shrink-wrap, I think. It's not very noticeable from the front, but flipped over it keeps the album from lying 100% flat. Also, due to age I guess, the top right corner shrink-wrap has split by the opening by about 2.5". Great graphics on the cover, this is a historic piece of California music from 50 years ago. Please check photos to verify condition. Sorry, I do not ship outside U.S.A. at this time.
