Description
For sale is this Fantastic re-issue of The New Tweedy Bros Self Titled 1969 LP on the Shadrocks label. This was a limited numbered (500 only) private pressing from 2000 and this is #411 (indicated on the inside of the sleeve)
This is a lovely copy of the original LP with the completely impractical (Ogdens Nut anyone?) Hexagonal outer cover with a reflective metallic finish. It comes with a fold out booklet. The vinyl is in Mint- condition, a lovely glossy disc with no scratches. The cover has a small crease on one point (see photo) but is otherwise Ex+. Record comes in paper sleeve that has been origami-d to fit into outer cover.
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, The New Tweedy Brothers LP is one of the great Psychedelic rarities of the San Franciscan scene.
Replica of a rare 1968 psychedelic album in original hexagonal shape cover.
Limited numbered edition of 500 copies (handnumbered on the inside cover).
Includes 4-sheet insert with photos.
The Shadoks catalogue number can only be found in the runout groove.

I grade very strictly by the Record Collector system. I do not sell records that are less than VG+. I am also a collector and know that there is nothing worse than a poorly graded record.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
