Description
This is a genuine original promotional poster for the compilation album 'New Wave', which if I remember correctly came out in about 1978. As you can see, the list of bands reads like a who's who of the era. I've owned it since new, when I blagged it from our local record shop at the time, so I can guarantee it is a genuine orginal, and not a recent copy. After having it for so long, I've moved to a much smaller place, so it really needs to find a new home. I don't know how rare they are, I've never seen another one, so this may be something of a unique chance for punk/new wave collectors.
Considering it's 30 years old it's in remarkably good condition. It has some creases where it's been folded up, as you can see from the photos, and it has one very small tear of approx 3/4 of an inch on the outside top edge, but other than that it is completely intact. All the corners are good and not frayed at all, and the colours are all still extremely bright. It just needs to be stored flat for a few days to flatten the creases, and it is ready to hang anywhere.
