New York City HARDCORE Together 1987
BLACK VINYL 45 1st pressing w/ white multi-page insert!

Gently and quite lovingly previously-owned copy snatched from my own personal collection and sold because I'm a lowly Reptilian employee, not the high muckity-muck boss/owner who's rolling in the dough. LIMITED EDITION as you well know, fellow fan/collector and all-around hardcore person.

Here's what this is: a FIRST PRESSING of Revelation Records 2nd release, Revelation:2 , a 7-song EP vinyl 45 that documented some of the greatest NY hardcore of that era.  They pressed around 1000 records, with 600 black (like this one) and 400 gold-ish (many containing a superhero stamp inside the sleeve)(I mean on the yellow/orange/gold, whatever you want to call them).  They slightly changed every pressing.  The 2nd pressing was much smaller, and also black vinyl, but the insert (SEE OUR PICTURES) enclosed with the single was printed on yellow paper and the cover was either in two pieces or had a top fold. The 3rd pressing was smaller and yellow, and the 4th was black again, I believe, with a xeroxed cover. This one has the 1st pressing cover, record label art, and the WHITE INSERT that proves it is a 1st pressing.

The white paper sleeve is notorious for aging badly, but this one is nearly perfect for a couple of reasons. The inner sleeve on the record is actually a little larger than the outside cover, so when handled the cover never got edgewear.  I never really touched the cover of the 45. The other reason is because I'm such an obsessive compulsive freak that I kept it in a plastic sleeve forever and never let other humans near it!  You benefit from my nerdy (yet manly) OCD with my collectibles.

HERE'S THE POINT:  You get a beautiful copy of a serious collector's piece. The vinyl itself looks like its only been played a couple of times.  At the very least it's EX by Goldmine standards, but that's being conservative, and I'd actually grade it higher, like EX+ or NM- or whatever that grade is.  The cover (which is a folded one-sheet) has retained most of its original white beauty, with absolutely NO BROWNING, NO STAINS, NO RINGWEAR OR EDGEWEAR.  And last but not least, the insert with all of the band info, photographs, lyrics, etc. is folded (as it originally was in the 45), and looks pretty much like it's never been handled.  To sum up: Cover, record, and insert are all better than EX.  You'd have trouble finding a better copy even if you found one sealed in carbonite.

On the insert, as you can maybe see in the picture, is an ad for the upcoming WarZone Lower East Side Crew e.p. which I'll be putting up here on ebay in just a few.  A great collectible for the son or daughter you can't buy for.  Is your kid a skinhead? The good kind, not the evil kind? Is he or she straight edge? Do they say "oi"? Do they claim to be "down" with the "Youth Crew"? Does he or she like Underdog, Side by Side, CIV, Agnostic Front, Bold, Altercation, Scream, Bad Brains, Death Before Dishonor, The Business?  Well, hey.  Here you go.

WarZone - As One

Gorilla Biscuits - Better Than You

Bold - Talk Is Cheap

Youth Of Today - Together

Sick Of It All - My Life

Side by Side - Violence to Fade

SuperTouch - Searchin For The Light

Produced by Ray Cappo (Shelter / Youth of Today / Better Than A Thousand / Reflex From Pain / Violent Children) (co-creator of Revelation Records & Krishna-core guy!)

This is a serious collectible, person of wonderful musical taste. Can I call you that? This is yours, if you bid boldly, proudly, hardcoreishly.

If you have questions, write us.  We guarantee the grading and will happily refund your money if you win and think differently.  Not like happy with a huge fake smile, but kind of with a pleasant vaguely intimidating grimace. Still, you get your money back either way.

And hey Chief, Ace, Cap'n, Judge, Buddy, Pal, it's worth WAY more than the starting price.  I'm starting this REALLY LOW, so you might get it for a steal. Ain't we nice?

Good luck to you, my rawk-loving friend. See our other auctions for more keen rekkids and cds, and keep watching cuz I have things you've wanted since you were 11. I'm going to be purging my collection and selling things I thought I'd never sell.

We'll ship this to you in the U.S. for $4. If you have another plan, email us and we'll run it up a flagpole and discuss the ramifications of said possibilities. What I mean to say is, if you'd like it sent another way, we'll engender a coalition to discuss the realities and...you know what I'm sayin', right?

If you live overseas in an overseas land, we'll send it in an overseas way for some overseas price. No handling added. Just whatever it costs, boss. Write us and we'll USPS it to guess the postage.  Just figure if you're in North America it'll be 4-7 depending on where you are (Canucks, he means you), and if you're overseas it'll be 6-10 depending on where you are, exotic foreign person. And hey, it's a good deal for you because the U.S. dollar isn't worth crap, so your money translates quite perfectly for you. Thank you, good night.
