An 8x10 vintage photostat print. I believe this actually might be the graphic element used for the original cover art of the 1977 unofficial Lp “The Dolls Live in Dallas 74” it came from the estate of a noted New York City 70s punk musician that knew everyone in the scene and was a massive collector. It is definitely a very old photostat silver print used in the professional graphic design industry before computers and before copy machines could reproduce quality images. This technology hasn’t been used in decades. It is a little smaller than the cover image but the original art could have been scaled up. There is old rubber cement on the entire back leading me to believe this was used as a graphic element for this record or maybe something else. There’s a bit of rubber cement near the writing on the bottom like there was a paper once pasted over that part to block out the writing. It looks to be a David Johansen autograph. I have no idea if it’s an original signature or in the photo. I can’t tell, there is no indentation on the photo. I have told everything I can tell you about this and I can’t name the previous owner.
