Up for auction is another one of my coveted rare Beatles’ 2nd State (unpeeled) Mono Butcher cover albums released by Capitol Records in 1966 and quickly recalled. The cover is really nice for being 59 years old. Only a small approximate 1” seam split at lower right mouth. All other seams are fine. Ringo’s V neck sweater clearly visible under “Today” on trunk slick. Study the photos carefully and judge condition first yourself. Minor attempt to peel in upper right front corner and neatly written name in ink on back. Name written in rainbow also on vinyl label. Minor storage wear and corner rubs where indicated in the photos…Crease on lower rear where “6” (West Coast) number is located . Nice upgrade album for most. Comes with an original orange Capitol inner sleeve PE-12-2FS in good condition with seam splits on 3 sides if it really matters. Likewise, the vinyl has good gloss and great labels but has been played. Scratches and wear apparent on both sides, again if it really matters since the value is in the unpeeled cover. Reasonable offers considered prior to the first bid. 5 day auction with low starting bid as I do on all my rare records. Meant to sell not linger on ebay.
