1970 UK 1st PRESSING 'PINK RIM' ISLAND LP
**NEAR MINT**
This 1970 Near Mint first pressing LP is on the UK Island label: ILPS 9134
Both labels have pink rims and the 'Witchseason' logos
Housed in the correct, unlaminated, textured 'E.J. Day' printed cover.
Complete with its original crisp white inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: ILPS 9134A-1U & ILPS 9134B-1U
Stamper numbers: 1/R & 1/O

Pristine, bright and glossy surfaces bearing only a few very feint sleeve removal hairlines under a halogen desk lamp but no scuffs or scratches whatsoever.
Tight on the turntable spindle and 100% flat on the turntable without any signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Although I would not describe anything played as 'MINT', this is surely as close as you can get.
The disc has only been played a few times, and then extremely carefully. This copy is virtually 'shop fresh' and sounds as good as the day it was bought.
All the music is rich, warm and clear without any trace or crackle or groovewear distortion nor any clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.
A real pleasure to experience the original mix and virtually impossible to upgrade.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Hard to find this cover in as good condition due to its textured matt finish but this example bears just extremely light storagewear only.
The front panel is bright, clean and 'unrubbed' with no ringwear, creases, 'thumbnails' or missing paper.
The corners display just some light storagewear but the opening edge is clean, sharp and virtually unworn with no tears or 'feathering'.
There are a few small indentations along the top edge but the rear panel is in great shape and is difficult to fault.
The seams are strong and unsplit and althought the spine bears very light wear it is clean and readable.
