Description
- On offer is the much sought after "Fruit Tree" four LP box set, by Nick Drake. This is the 1986 box set on the Hannibal label, released at the same year as the separate Time of No Reply LP. It contains the three studio LPs released in Nick Drake's lifetime, in sleeves with the original albums artwork, plus a fourth LP, Time of No Reply, containing 14 previously unreleased tracks. Also included is a 16 page booklet containing a biography by Arthur Lubow, with many photos and song lyrics.
- I bought this boxset when it was first released in late 1986 and I've played the LP's once only! Basically I played each LP once, recording them onto cassette tape. I listened to the cassettes over the years, eventually replacing them with CD's of the albums. The LPs have remained stored unplayed, in mint condition. After watching the Nick Drake night on BBC4 last month, I decided it was time to move the boxset on to a new owner. The discs, sleeves and booklet are all in mint condition. The box itself has a few very minor external marks, plus a small tear on the corner, as shown in the second photo. ( .... this was there when I bought the boxset.)
