Description
Nick Drake Fruit Tree 3 LP Box Set in excellent condition. I bought this in the late 1990s and have never played the LPs, they look as if they have never been played before I bought them so are in mint condition. The box does have some signs of wear through age which I've tried to show on the photos.....the front of the box is covered in a shiny film and there is some discoloouration - hard to describe but it is like mini snow crystals appearing underneath the film. Also the side of the box with the record details on has some slight wear. Overall though this item is in excellent condition, they don't appear very often on ebay!
There are 3 LPS and an accompaning LP sized booklet. The LPs are 'Fruit Tree, The Complete Recorded Works - One', 'The Complete Recorded Works - Two', and 'The Complete Recorded Works - Three'. They have codes ND 1001, ND 1002 and ND 1003 respectively, and each has a different drawing of Nick Drake on. The booklet has code NDSP 100 on the back sleeve of the booklet.
The LPs have the same tracks as Five Leaves Left, Bryter Layter, and Pink Moon, so are basically the same albums as these, though Disc 3 has 4 extra tracks that aren't on Pink Moon, these being Voice from the Mountain, Rider on the Wheel, Black Eyed Dog, and Hanging on a Star.
Released by Island Records in 1979.
